Since 2003, G.STUDIO has photographed job applicants and repeatedly seen that small differences that look natural in a mirror before shooting can look different in a front-facing photo. Eyebrow height, clarity around the eyes and skin tone under lighting are hard to assess before seeing the actual photo.
By adjusting only what is needed after the shoot, the photographer can review the result for each customer's facial structure and lighting conditions. That is why G.STUDIO uses AI as a makeup adjustment tool for the photo, rather than an automatic filter.
What counts as natural retouching in an AI makeup job photo?
The person's good impression should stand out before any sign of editing. We tidy eyebrows, eyes and skin tone without radically changing eye, nose or face shape or erasing all skin texture.
After shooting, we compare the original and adjusted photo with the customer on a monitor and finish with the photographer's judgment and the customer's feedback. If a request goes beyond a natural result, we explain the difference from the person's real appearance and agree on a suitable adjustment.
